Project Overview
Finova Tech needed a complete overhaul of their legacy financial advisory platform. The existing system was slow, difficult to navigate, and lacked the real-time capabilities their advisors demanded. We designed and built a modern, responsive dashboard that processes thousands of data points in real time, giving financial advisors the insights they need to serve their clients better.
The Challenge
The biggest challenge was replacing a decade-old monolithic system without disrupting active users. The platform needed to handle real-time market data feeds, complex portfolio calculations, and regulatory compliance requirements — all while maintaining sub-second response times for over 2,000 concurrent users.
Our Solution
We adopted an incremental migration strategy, building the new Next.js frontend alongside the existing system and gradually routing traffic. We implemented WebSocket connections for live market data, server-side rendering for instant page loads, and a robust caching layer with Redis. The Supabase backend provided real-time database subscriptions and row-level security for multi-tenant data isolation.
